Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-06-18 · The agreement governing your use of Afrikunite.
Who we are & acceptance
The Afrikunite platform is owned and operated by Afrikunite Global LLC, a California Limited Liability Company. By accessing or using the platform you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you accept on its behalf.
Accounts & accurate information
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when you register and keep it up to date. You are responsible for your account, your credentials, and the accuracy of the content you publish. You must own or be authorized to represent any listing you claim or verify.
What Afrikunite is
Afrikunite is a directory, networking, and community platform. It helps users discover and connect with businesses, professionals, services, opportunities, education, relocation resources, and community. Afrikunite is not a legal, financial, immigration, employment, tax, or investment advisor, and provides no such advice. It does not guarantee any visa, job, scholarship, funding, housing, or relocation outcome.
User-generated content & third-party dealings
Listings, profiles, reviews, and other content are provided by users and third parties. Afrikunite does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, or safety of user-generated content or third-party services. Users are responsible for their own business dealings, agreements, and transactions, and should conduct their own due diligence before relying on any listing or engaging any provider.
Your content & license
You retain rights to content you publish and grant Afrikunite a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it on the platform to operate the service. You must not post unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content. Listings are shown only after approval and may be moderated.
Subscriptions & billing
Any paid plans are billed via our payment processor (Stripe). Trials, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and renewals are governed by your plan and the applicable billing terms; you can manage your subscription from your dashboard or the billing portal. Afrikunite does not custody funds or process payments between users and providers.
Acceptable use & enforcement
No fraud, scams, harassment, hate speech, fake or misrepresented listings, illegal services, spam, scraping, abuse, or attempts to circumvent verification, quotas, or security. Afrikunite reserves the right to moderate, suspend, or permanently remove accounts or content that violate these Terms or our policies, at its discretion.
Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the extent permitted by law. Listings and content reflect third-party information that Afrikunite Global LLC does not independently guarantee.
Limitation of liability
Afrikunite provides a directory, networking, and community platform only. Afrikunite Global LLC does not guarantee any outcome and is not liable for the actions, omissions, content, or services of users or providers, nor for agreements or transactions made between users and third parties. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Afrikunite Global LLC, its members, and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the platform; and our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US $100.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Afrikunite Global LLC and its members, officers, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the platform, your content, your dealings with other users or providers, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Dispute resolution; arbitration & class-action waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting support@afrikunite.com. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, you and Afrikunite Global LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the platform will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, seated in California, rather than in court — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief for intellectual-property or unauthorized-access matters. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, and you and Afrikunite Global LLC waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Where binding arbitration is not enforceable, disputes will be heard exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
